Need some ideas for MemphisSportsTalk.com

I dont want just another sports forum.
I'm trying to find some ideas for something "new" and fresh. Something that will make visitors keep coming back. Yes, the site should "include" a forum, but what else can I do to make my site different from the other sports sites out there???

Help please.
I will add +rep to all who give me some real good ideas.
And if anyone is interested in helping me develop the site, please let me know. I'm sure we could work out some sort of deal.

i would start with all the sports teams in memphis like minor league baseball and etc. and pics of the players mascots and etc. high school sports news future stars etc.
