Need recommendation

One of my domain names is expiring. Renewal is $37.99 which shocked me. I want to transfer it to a registrar with a reasonable registration rate AND a reasonable renewal rate. Too many offer 99 cent registrations but $25 renewals.

I have a host so just need to transfer the domain. Oh, I already have domains at many registrars so am not eligible for newbie specials. Offhand I already use 1&1, Register.com, Cosmotown, GoDaddy and Network Solutions.

I would go with Godaddy.

If it's a .com, I'd transfer it to GoDaddy. In fact I would transfer all my domains at your other registrars to GoDaddy. All those other registrars (I don't know about CosmoTown) are either crappy (1and1) or rip you off with renewal fees (Registrar, NetSol). GoDaddy is much better for you than those other registrars.

Why so expensive? That's a rip-off.
Unless it is a special domain!
Be careful always when signing up for cheap domains, there is usually a catch.
