I'm fairly new to domaining, so I'm still learning, & trying to learn more. I have about 20 domains now, & they are from pretty much everywhere. They are registered at lots of registrars. Mostly 1&1 and godaddy. They are listed at just about every company out there with free listings.
My question is about parking. Can I receive any revenue if I keep them "parked" with their registrars? Or do I have to change the DNS to companies like Sedo, Afternic, or Namedrive? If that's the case, what company do you suggest I park with? I was honestly thinking Sedo, but I want to get some professional input 1st. I'd appreciate all the help I can get. Thank you.

Some registrars like Dynadot offer parking but most do not. Do these names get traffic? If not, then parking probably shouldn't be a huge priority.

If your goal is to sell the names then Sedo is a good option. They offer parking and a sales platform. 20 names shouldn't be too hard to manage even if they are scattered across registrars. There is NO best parking company. Names can perform/earn differently at parking companies depending on many factors.

If they have no traffic, parking or not parking, makes no difference - most hand regged domains won't be suitable for parking unless prior to parking you had created some backlinks. Just hand regging a name and parking it immediately after in most cases is a waste of time if parking revenue was considered to be the main objective.

Hey Carbill3

the easiest way to find out if its worth it is to test ist. Just add your names at the parking provider of your choice and see what happens. Even if there is only little revenue it can make sense, because the "for sale"-link on your template takes a potential buyer straight to a contact formular or your aftermarket account, depending on your settings.

On top of that you get detailed traffic stats which might be interesting as well.
