Need Help with a Domain Name

Hello,

I need help. I bought a domain name, will post in the future. Anyways, when I put it in the url box and do a search, it tells me that this domain has been parked for free and has other links to other websites. I believe that these websites must be paying this person for directing traffic to their websites, how do I go about telling them that this website is now mine. Actually, the person saying it is parked for free is godaddy. I am new to this.

The previous owner had the domain parked at Godaddy. Which registrar did you use to purchase this domain? You need to change the DNS (domain name servers) to a parking company of your choice if you intend to park this domain. If you want to use it for a website then you need to change the DNS to your web service provider.
