I've set up several subdomains for a class I'm teaching. Currently only the users who I've set up to run the domain under can access the files via FTP. However, I need to be able to log into my FTP server and view their files to troubleshoot etc. I'd also like to make sure they are restricted to just their home directory. Are these things possible?

Thanks.

I am not sure if this would be the correct section for this topic, but I need
to edit text in an existing PDF document and I'm not sure how to do this without
adode. I'd like to access a simple free pdf editing software but cannot seem to find
one that works. Does anyone know how to do this easily.

Much thanks in advance for any help.

I am developing a toolbar app that runs via vbscriot (asp). All works fine but one thing. I need to be able to get the URL that is currently in the browser to get the toolbar app to run. I can't find anyway to do this. Request server variables won't work because I need the url as people "surf". I'm stumpted, any ideas??? Thanks.

I am an absolute beginner in javascript but have a lot of coding experience in other language. I need to prepare my college project real fast and for it i need a big data grid with various fields and sorting/searching enabled and it fetches its data from an xml file. I am not allowed to use any framework, except that if i can justify its need.
So far, all the searching for datagrid tutorial yields me only ready made grids with just a little more effots to include. So i need some guidance in this regard. I am a fast learner, so just need some quick reference material on how to do things like creating a datagrid that respond to searching and sorting events and include data from xml file.
