The letters in a LLL domain name dont have to stand for something for you to develop the site around. You can build anything on any of them. Just like TMZ.com and many others.

i agree with the branding of the LLL.mobi.
Alternatively, I would suggest to use a major city as part of the name.
Ex. - JCN.mobi - Jersey City Network.

Ah, but TMZ does stand for something - Thirty Mile Zone, a zone governed by union work rules in Hollywood, California.

I Think "HMP" dot mobi could stand for H.EMP and it could developed it into some college band site or "something along that road" and maybe start small in your local area and list some colleges and bars where bands play (with speacials, freecover ect...) it could work out to some kind of mid 20's directory for college kids and it can be easily branded if it works out.
