domain Need appraisal of this domain name please. Any Hurricane Related.

Hey all. I picked this domain up just recently, and would like an appraisal on it.

HurricaneDonations.net.

Decent Overture, and especially needed when there are disasters such as Hurricanes.

I want this domain to go to good causes... Maybe someone interested in creating a big donations website to support people suffering from a Hurricane disaster, or someone keeping records of the amount of money being made from Hurricane Disasters.

Currently I would like appraisals from you all.

I in no way shape or form look to profit from this domain. I am probably the most generous person you'll meet on Namepros. I am just looking for a simple appraisal. Any money made for this website would simply go to good causes such as the Redcross, Church Collections for Hurricane Victims, etc.

The reason I would want to sell it, would be because I wouldn't have the time to do anything with it, which is why I want someone who would buy it to spend there time making it into a great and informative website. Possibly a link to Donation Services such as RedCross.org, etc.

I see your good intentions with this domain, but you also need to realize that not everyone else who wants to profit from the use and sales of domains has a good heart like yourself. I recently started an organization (and am still in the process of finalizing it) to promote and collect on the behalf of other nonprofits.

If I were you (and trust me, I am not saying this in any negative or scolding way at all) you shouldn't be worried about the value of the domain. If someone approaches you to buy the name, let them suggest a price. Then donate the profit from the domain to the Red Cross and keep the $8 or whatever it cost you to register the domain to cover your base costs.

That sounds like a great idea Steve! Thanks a lot. I guess when I registered it, I was going to make it into an informative website, but with all the college prep and everything it just won't allow me to do everything I would have wanted to normally do with the domain, so we'll see what happens.
