Please Appraise FreeHomework.info

I received a couple of offers for:

FreeHomework[dot]info

Just for starters, what do you think was my highest offer so far?

It's parked with namedrive and is making about $15-$18 per month.

And given that info what would you accept as an offer if you were me?
Thanks.

First, you'll want to not make the dn a link in this forum; not allowed to link traffic to your parked pages, against the parking company rules, and a link in this forum counts as sending traffic to your parked page. Okay to mention the name, but not to make it a hyperlink.

Second, if it's getting good income and has been a steady earner (which you'll have to prove to any potential buyer if you're selling based on traffic - and also you'll have to prove you're not driving traffic to the page, ha ha...), then you should be able to ask anywhere from 1 to 3 years of earnings for it, depending on how much you want to sell it and how interested the buyer is.

I wonder where all that traffic is coming from? The term hardly gets any exact monthly searches...
But it's not a bad term and fits the extension kind of okay. If the traffic is natural and legit then your offer could be from a domainer. I could see an end user being interested in this for a little development also.
What was your offer? I can see it being anywhere in the xx range. Low to mid xxx if they're a very interested end user or if that traffic is rock-solid legit.

highest offer yesterday was $45 US. I'm not driving traffic, unless you count the link in my post yesterday. I put it there to make it easier to see namedrive stats.

I should've just linked this... Inquire about this domain

Also, I've tried approaching a handful of specific end users to no avail.

I'm learning as I go, at least I'm not trying to pawn off epepsi.com on e-bay. LOL.

thanks for your response.

Yes, difficult to sell this kind of name to an end user, especially when it's you approaching them. The dot.info is what kills it for end users, it's a rare end user who understands what to do with that extension.

That is great traffic income from Namedrive. You'll have to leave it awhile though and see if it continues over time; many people report high traffic for the occasional name at ND, and then it peters out to nothing in a few weeks and you get 0$ income. Has this been steady for months, or did you just get it a month or two ago?

If that is steady income and has been coming for a few months, then you shouldn't sell the name for less than $250 - 400 clams... because it's making you at least $150/year, right? Whoever's making a $45 offer is really lowballing you if they're only offering 3 months worth of traffic revenue.

counter offer $500

On his Namedrive offers page (where he's getting his offers thru), he has a BIN set at $150 so the 5xx thang wouldn't go

Seems to be a really nice income for a parked .info. If the traffic and income is on a steady level you should not go below 1 year of income. Counter with for example 2 - 3 years of income, for example, $400 - $500. Asking $150 for a domain making $15-$18 per month seems a bit low.

Thanks for the info guys. Using the 2-3 yrs of income as a selling point makes a lot of sense as a rule of thumb. I just wasn't sure how solid .infos are, or if i should scale back the BN price because of .infos being on the soft side.

Much obliged.

Any immediate suggestions on where to park for better revenue? Not necc. this domain but, I'm always open to tweaking other ones in my portfolio. I think the new devhub.com offerings are kinda nice especially for beginner(or lazy) mini-site developers.
