Hello friends,

I was wondering what you guys think my absolute best option is to sell stuff online. I am going to be moving sometime soon so I want to clean out my house and get rid of stuff I haven't used in ages.

I have everything from electronics, to coins, to clothing, and beyond. I would use eBay but those selling fees seem to keep going higher and if I were to list every single thing I'm selling on eBay, the selling fees would totally dwindle my chance of getting profit. So I don't want to use eBay and that's why. I was thinking of Google Base or CraigsList which are both free of course, but I'm not sure if it would get the right exposure I would need to try to sell everything I have.

I have hundreds, possibly thousands of things that I want to sell online (and online only.)
What, where, and how is the most efficient way to do so? I want to avoid item listing costs (like those on eBay.)

Advice generously appreciated,
With much thanks;
Andrew

I would start by using craigslist. You will have to list and price everything sometime so just start and put it up. Also check for ebay list specials every few days. There have been at least 2 in the best month- one for 10 cents fixed and one for 20 cents either fixed or auction. That doesn't include final value fees.

Have you tried Amazon? They have less fees and take the fees out of the users payment. You can transfer the money to your bank account (No Paypal). No listing fees unless your item is sold! I have had more buyers on Amazon.

Came here to suggest this. You won't be able to sell everything on there, but Amazon gets pretty good turnover time for most of the stuff I post up there. Plus everything Bill listed.
