I keep eye on a domain for few months and following data was gathered. I'm confused what is the current status of this domain. Is there any chance that it will drop soon?

what does the "Thin" WHOIS @ internic.net say?

It does not look like it is in redemption Period or Pending delete, at the moment.

Keep in mind that expiring domains can be auctioned off before they drop.

Sometimes nameserver settings are kept after a transfer. It is possible that it has been renewed but stills shows the former nameserver settings.

My guess is that it won't drop because it expired Aug 04. After that you can have up to 45 days of a grace renewal period which would end Sep 18. After that it enters a 30 day Redemption Grace Period. Which would end Oct 18.
