Been having a conversation on another forum regarding pot vs alcohol. My reponse to whether we'd lost the war on drugs (we have) was (in part):
One of the main differences between being intoxicated and being high is: if you're high, you're usually too lazy to get up off the couch to drive
I think in that case, lethargy is a good thing :D
I think cannabis smokers are less likely to get belligerent too, as those who drink alcohol often do.
My grandmother was an alcoholic and tho I have consumed alcohol in my lifetime, it's been a rare and generally unpleasant experience for me (I hate being tipsy). On the other hand, I've also "inhaled" on occasion (tho haven't in a few years now) and would generally feel safer in a nation of pot smokers than a roomful of drunks.
