Narrowing the odds of backordering

I'm very interested in a Yahoo-registered domain that might be expiring next month. I dont want to miss a chance at it. What's the best way to get a shot at buying it? Do I need to place a backorder at snapnames, pool, and everywhere in the world that has expired domain backordering? If it goes into auction I want to get a shot.
