NameServer Question

I just recently purchased a domain from NamePros, and I used the domain management system to set my custom nameservers to ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com and gave each it's own IP address. when I logged into WebHostManager, i found a reseller account using the same address. I was just wondering if this affects anything, and also, could I choose ANY random IP address and just set it up in WHM?

Just an aside...does the upgrade nameserver feature in the domain management seem to work for you guys? I typed in my nameserver i wished to change (ns2.domain.com), the old IP address, and my desired new IP.. however when I clicked submit it never had any confirmation. In the end -RJ- had to manually change it.. I don't want to trouble him anymore which is why I asked the first question :hehe:

More than one account can be placed on an IP address with no problem, all you have to do is set it to the correct nameservers/IP addresses of YOUR web plan and it should work just fine.

I read somewhere else that if an account already uses an IP, you can't set it as your nameserver IP...also when I do a whois, I do not see my nameserver but under "domain server" at the very bottom it says ns1.domain.com and ns2.domain.com
