I remembered last year that portions of NamesCon 2017 were to be streamed live:

I just checked namescon.live to find it a dead link. Curious if anyone knows if there will be something similar this year for those of us who can't make it?

NamePros provided the live conference coverage of NamesCon in 2016:

However, the internet there was really congested and the quality of the videos weren't up to our standards. The video and audio quality difference was significant so we decided not to do live coverage anymore.

Here's a comparison of the same event with Live vs. Post-production HD:

In 2017, NamesCon did the live coverage and ended up not covering all of the events they planned, probably due to the same issues we ran into: poor quality video, difficult to hear audio, connectivity issues where the signal dropped, small amount of interest in the live streams compared to high-definition versions, etc.

For 2018, both NamePros and NamesCon have a video crew there and have been working together to produce high-definition video content of the event.
