I have listed my first 2 domain with Namerific and it would be great to share your experience with Namerific.

My experience so far is good. I submitted 4 names and 2 accepted within 48 hours. Logo design was done with 24 hours after verification of the domain names.

Now I need to wait and see if the domain get sold.

Just share your experience with Namerific..

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
For those who complain about having domain names rejected, I have had 479 names rejected by Namerific; yes, 479. And I have had 16 names published with 17 pending. I do not register a name unless they first accept it. Of course, there's always the risk that someone will beat you to it, but I have only had that happen once so far.

So it's partly because of you that it takes as long as it takes to get your name approved/declined. That's just great.

Hey guys just to update everyone, we have moved the site to a much faster dedicated server. Our previous dedicated server was already pretty solid, but this one is even better. You guys may have seen the site down a few times periodically the past week or so while we moved over but it should be 100% now. From this point forward we will have less downtime and the site will be much more quicker & more responsive.

As for logos, we are still completing at least 50+ per week with our internal designer. We get hundreds of domain submissions per day so there is a little backlog, but they are getting done, rest assured.

Are any of you going to be at NamesCon in Vegas this coming January?

Mike, I just wanted to take a minute to compliment you on your professionalism. It is not easy to respond to all critiques with a cool and level head, and not everyone will be satisfied, but you have been doing a great job. Thank you for consistently answering the members questions and feedback in this thread, and for keeping us updated on Namerific's progress. I'm sure the "growing pains" will subside, but in the meantime keep charging on! I'll see you at NamesCon.

Forwarded my domain to the correct address for listing over ten days ago still not verified. Is there any issues with the site?

Had the same problem. PM'd, was told that they have technical issues with verifications, was manually approved.

Is there any customer service left with Namerific?
- I had many catchy names which didn't sell at the indicated prices. I was willing to lower the price for selling purposes.. It's been about 2 months or so..
-new price suggestions on NR - NO REPLY
-contacted by email twice NO REPLY
-private message on namepros - NO REPLY

Is this still a serious business, it seemed that it was a while ago.....

I personally met the Namerific team at NamesCon, and they were one of the most helpful business at the conference, and it was non stop. They were even hosting after parties and giving speeches at the conference. I heard they gets thousands and thousands of names submitted each month, and they have a process for approving names, its not a one step process. So it does take time. Namerific is the only brandable site that does NOT charge a listing fee... So they cover the cost of a writer and a logo designer, which means they only pick the cream of the crop.

I can't speak for them, but from what i saw, they were at a tech conference just before NamesCon and they are attending an affiliate conference after NamesCon. They are actively promoting Namerific and the Brands on its platform! Helping domineers and finding customers. I didn't see any other brandable company at NamesCon.. I give props to the Namerific team for having boots on the ground and advertising so your names can get sold!

Im sure once they get back from the conferences, your questions will get answered.

I have no intention to be negative, but I don`t think one should expect that the presence on a domain conference will help to increase sales - This is where you meet with the suppliers, not the buyers

Hence why they are at multiple conferences(affiliate con. 5,000+ people) and not just at the domaining conference. There are many entrepreneurs and business owners who just 'discovered' Namerific for the first time. Namerific was also getting great names at the conference, and we all know great names, will bring buyers. Its all about exposure...

And while I'm still here: I actually like the new logo, colors and everything, fresh. But the huge red block below it definitely looks like a warning of some sort to my eyes.

If anyone has a question about a name, in particular a description, please give me a holler. I've been on the down low as of late, meaning little by way of NP activity, but I am reachable should anyone have a question or concern regarding a description, or helping you to expedite things.

@DKN i'm asking because i never get this comment. They just reject me.

1.If they feel good quality -> Accepted -> Free Listing

2. If they rejects and feel there is some quality ( low priority) -> Accepted -> Pay $8 to get accepted and list.

3.If they feel bad -> Rejected -> No more listing possiblities

I have received all kind of mails :)

They are both looking for specific inventory you might get some approved at BB that were not approved at namerifc.and vice versa.I don't think one is harder then the other...and if your name isn't getting approved at either maybe u should sell it and reg a new name..

Has anyone posted any confirmed sales on Namerific here? Their logos look very good etc. Thank you

I had 5 sales out of 55 names with them last year. This year zero sales....

@London555 Had one just recently.

There was a minor issue with the process (because of the buyer) and NR made it right swiftly.

I just had a great sale a few days ago (waiting for payment), also had a sale on BR.

Has anyone dropped prices and gotten offers/sales?

I did, no use. Was thinking that I should increase the price again

If you have a minute and don't mind explaining could you go into a little detail about the listing fees and options? For example, if you bring a logo it eliminates that fee... or if your name is premo it's free to list? If not it's $10 or $5? Thanks!

If your domain is premium, it get's accepted with a free logo and listing fee. $100+ logo award applies
If your domain is accepted, but not premium, it's $8 listing fee.

They had offered me a bulk listing discount of $5 / domain if I helped write my descriptions. They said they are open to offering a discount for other bulk sellers. $100+ logo award applies

I will ask for clarification on the price break if you provide your own logo's. I know you will not be charged a logo award if you provide your own logo's.

I don't think you understand what I'm trying to say.
Why pay 30% fees plus logo (I don't do logos) if said marketplace offers nothing extra compared to markets that offer huge exposure and fees like 10%-20%?

I'm trying to find reasons to re-join NR but ,honestly, I find none. That's why I'm asking that question, to see if I'm missing something.

I'm sorry I'm not giving you the reason to re-join Namerific. I'm simply posting my experience as it comes. Respectfully, I think our difference in opinion lies in your belief that Namerific does nothing extra to market your domain compared to the larger markets offering 10%- 20%. In part I agree that there are premium domains that shouldn't incur a fee as high as 30%. Liquid domains such as 3L/4L.coms, and dictionary words can sell themselves, and marketplaces should respect this by charging a lower percentage. Marketplaces make enough money off $XX,XXX sales and 30% is high considering.

On the contrary there are brandables that need the help of a brandable marketplace to sell. Of course I'd appreciate lower commissions, but I also respect that they allow me to list on marketplaces with lower percentages as well. I could be wrong, but I think Namerific allows you to list your domain with them even if you decide to forward your domain to your own marketplace. I will ask for further clarification on this as well.

IMO Namerific isn't even with submitting to. If I was starting out today I would focus only on the other 2 brandable marketplaces. Too many reasons to list here.

Listing with Namerific doesn't only mean you have to list with Namerific, they're nonexclusive. They're the only marketplace of the big 3 that allows you to list simultaneously with marketplaces such as Sedo, AfterNic, Flippa, NamePros, and more.

You can choose to sell your domains for 100% profit if a buyer contacts you through WHOIS, but then of course, the logo isn't included, and you risk the chance of selling the domain at brandable marketplace enduser pricing. IMO, redirecting the sale to a marketplace weeds out the low ball buyers who won't pay more than $200 for a domain, unless they have no choice because the negotiations are handled by a third party. I detailed my last marketplace contacted through WHOIS sale in this thread. The buyer contacted me through WHOIS, and I gave them the max discount I could + the check box of 10% off to entice the buyer to buy at marketplace pricing rather than waste time negotiating low ball offers that is still decent profit. The buyer saw a nice BB logo, and ensured the logo would be included with purchase. I was happy to pay for the $100 logo because I feel the quality unique logo helped make the sale.

They'll even list your domain for free if it's deemed brandworthy enough. I don't see the risks with $0 upfront costs. I understand they may have had some issues in the past, but they appear to be making improvements.

We can continue this conversation on the Namerific Experience thread if you wish to list your reasons and continue this discussion.

Interview with Mike Navarini,

An interview with Mike Navarini Namerific.com. Mike gives us some insight into why Namerific is better than their competitors and tells us the top sale so far on Namerific for 2016. 1) How long have you been buying and selling brandable names and how did you get involved with Namerific ? I bought my first domain as a teenager, and have been collecting them ever since. I met my co-founder, Zane … [Read more...]

I logged in to Namerific to submit a domain, and i discovered that they have accepted one domain i have submitted a couple weeks ago - but i didn't get ANY email about that. I checked in spam - nothing. So, if i didnt log in - i would never knew they accepted the domain. How's that?

Unfortunately, it happens all the time with NR. I only left a few names there and just gave up on them.

@golan @Zoltan P. All great QA points! I assume they're revamping the system.

Their email system spazzed out and sent me reminders every two days to verify domain ownership.

I'm not sure I want to sell Sour/Juice.com, and have held off in forwarding it to Namerific thus far. I emailed Namerific, and requested them to stop sending me emails.

I'd rather see sales / offer emails, instead of verification request ;)

Though, I suppose, the more domains I add / forward, the more offer / sales emails I'd receive.

Only suggestion I have so far is if they would let you know what names they will accept before filling out all the details.

To fill out all the details only to then have a name rejected will add up to a huge amount of time for a high number of names.

Looking forward though to working with them.

Here are some changes we have made in Namerific which will definitely delight you guys:

1. The listing price has been reduced to just $4 per domain.
2. We can now accept any and every domain extension for sale (if they are good enough).
3. We are committed to publish every approved domains within 2 weeks from the date of submission.

Thanks
Please publish here how many names Namerific has sold for listers over the past year not just for the owners of Namerific-thank you.

Well, they confirmed that the buyer received the domain and that I'd be paid on Monday. I feel better now.
