Namerific.com, Brandable Domain Aftermarket

It's probably been mentioned here before but I just learned about Namerific.com, which is a domain aftermarket platform, similar to Flippa and Sedo but with some major differences. In order to sell your domain there it has to be accepted by the staff. So there's some quality control. They also design logos for your domains and go to some effort to market them, again on the condition that they like them.

This is a refreshing concept to me, when sites like Flippa and Sedo are so overloaded with crap. The real challenge here is just coming up with good domain names.

I'm going to spend a little time coming up with a few brandable names and give this a try.

I've come across mention of Namerific before, when BrandBucket and BrandRoot were being mentioned. It's looking the same or very close to those other 2, including the domains being shown. Can anyone point out a difference that's significant enough when compared to BB and BR?

In my experience Namerific's selling a lesser quality of brandable domains, and as such, I tend to submit at BB first. If they are not accepted by BB, I move to namerific and list them there. Some get accepted, and some not. It is worth to mention that the sale rate of NR is much lower than BB or BR. probably average sale is lower too.

Although BB, BR, Namerific are all much the same. I prefer the operation of Namerific's website. I like the operation of the hover feature.

If you're looking to sell on these platforms it should be a decision based purely on sales. I'd be interested to get some official numbers from each of the competing marketplaces so we can conclusively say which has the best sale rate. An average sale price would be helpful too.

I'd guess, probably correctly, that there sales are directly proportional to the amount of time they have been in business. BB, Namerific, BR.
