I recall a few years ago SEDO had 16-18 million domains on their platform. I am sure there millions of aftermarket domains not listed there but listed at Godaddy or Afternic or BuyDomains. Some portfolio holders may choose to not list on any platform to not have to pay commissions on unique names. HugeDomains alone has some 2 million domains while NameAdministration has some 250k and Michael Berkens recently sold 70k domains to Godaddy. There are 12 million new TLDs probably 95% are held by domain investors. Any guess as to the total number of aftermarket domains and then how many aftermarket sales over $100 there were in 2015....
