opinion Namepros conferences December 2025

Hello!

I read that many companies held conferences this year, and I wanted to ask whether Namepros has ever hosted such an event. If not, why not?

I would like to propose the idea of organizing an event, potentially a gathering. This could be a conference lasting anywhere from 3 to 5 days, filled with lectures, fun activities, and excellent networking opportunities. I would love the chance to meet some amazing people at an event like this, as a bit of fun alongside work can really enhance the experience.

I hope it’s not too late to consider this. As we near the end of the year, let’s consider selecting a venue for this gathering, whether on an annual or every five-year basis. We could collaborate on financing and find a location that is accessible for members from around the globe.

Personally, back in the day, when I was in the NamePros Administration and Member services departments, I attended several conferences, but I don't recall NamePros ever hosting one of them.

There's a lot involved with hosting a live-in-person event.

If I had to guess, I would assume that NamePros hasn't hosted a live event because it's already the largest digital/online event that never ends and sees lectures, analysis, fun activities, networking, etc. (As you outlined) daily, already.

Yea.....went to conferences where we all gather in the swimming pool and in hot tubs.......deals get done as there is nothing to hide....clothing is optional--- no judgement!! everyone is equal!!! very productive indeed!!! no hold bar.

With a million+ members, only 4 have commented. I guess that means it's a no! What a shame.

Yes, hosting live in-person event involves a lot... If others can successfully manage and host such events, so can we... I assume you're talking about country laws. If that's the case, it can be hosted anywhere in the world, not just locally. Some countries don't have many regulations.

I thought you were still with NP! Your thoughtful ideas and suggestions have encouraged me to upgrade my account...

Our clothing will feature our usernames. We'll wear these during breakfast or lectures, not while swimming, so we can easily identify each other.

Absolutely, the subscription is definitely worth it. I have completed the customization of the lander, and I will hold onto it. I’d like to give back in my own way since the community has had a positive impact on me, and I've sold a couple of names since I joined.

Keep in mind, social media can also be leveraged as part of your outreach campaigns. For instance, NamePros has a group on FaceBook where people share the links to their landers and marketplace listings: https://www.facebook.com/groups/namepros - Which reaches a slightly different audience of viewers.

Umm... You're a member of NamePros and we've met each other in person, shook hands, and enjoyed a meal with one another (Steak if I recall - YUMMY!).

So, I wouldn't be too quick to say members of NamePros can't afford to travel, lodge and eat

I've met more NamePros members in person than I can count at events like TRAFFIC West, NamesCon, DnHouston, etc...
