I placed my bid on a pre-leased domain less than 10 seconds before the auction ended and I was the only bidder until it closed.. now I see 2 bids ( including me) on that domain hahaha how did that happen? this is a joke! for real..

In such case would they hijack the price too much or only few dollars? and if the other "bidder" wins and doesn't pay would it go back to me or they will listed again?

people have custom coded scripts that bids on the names in the final seconds. The domain you bid on will go to auction. If the other person doesn't bid then you win the auction.

Yea they do but cmon after the auction ends with 1 bidder, and I see the activity has been suspended on the account and I see I am the only bidder.. then another bidder shows after it closed? doesn't make any sense to me..

or you bid on a private auction domain. Second bidder might be Namejet Reserve (reserve set by the private seller). Either way it's not a scam.

How come it is a private auction if the domain was in pending activation in the whois? I am kind of confused since it is the first time I bid on a domain there and it is supposed to be expiring..thanks
