A Namejet pre-release issue!

I back ordered a pre-release domain on namejet which shows release date is 13 oct 2011 8pm ET

I was the only bidder & my bid was $70 against minimum bid 69.

Now it is not showing that domain as won or something.

In my account the domain is just shown as backorder.

What is the meaning of pre-release date is 13 oct 2011 8pm ET ??

I asked Support & they replied the domain has not gone to auction! When there is only 1 bid, why should it go to auction?

Can somebody guide me?

Not sure if this is same case but when my names at fabulous.com expire they go to prerelease AT NAMEJET for 30 days(after exp) I have up until the final hour to redeem it, if i dont highest bidder gets it.

Namejet are crooks, as simple as that.. they add fake bids or resell the domains to other people.. they just added a bid to a domain I preordered after the time ended..

Whois the Registrar? If Tucows, they have a distinct tendency to renew domains for themselves for domains with bids. Maybe others too.

Yes. Name jet are real crooks. at the time of pre release deadline 13 oct 2011 8pm ET, I was the only bidder. but they didn't award me the domain. instead they just removed the domain from the pre-release date. This is a bad story.

But I have a good story to share with you all guys.

I had a domain and expired an year ago. (It was a crappy registrar and i forgot to renew. they never send me any expiry notice too).

I was marketing it without knowing it was expired. I got a buyer for $999 (there were 3 buyers and the top was 999$). Even after my sale of $999, i got offer for $1500 from one of the another buyer. As it is not ethical, i explained its sold for $999.

Then comes the issue. The domain is not in my account. !!! It was in namejet prerelease. Again it was not working. He has already sent me the payment of $999.

What happened then?
