NameJet auction turning to Wish list, fishy or common?

I ordered this expired domain on Namejet where I was the sole bidder and in the very last seconds, 2 more bids showed up which looked like shill bids to me. Then it showed "waiting for auction to begin" status for few days and total bids as 2 and then all of a sudden, I find it's turned into wishlist with 3 bids again. The domain is at GoDaddy and the WHOIS was last updated on Dec/03/2019. Is this common or something fishy, perhaps Namejet not wanting to let their precious domains slip by for so low ($69ish)?

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
A reason could be that the domain owner has renewed or transferred the domain to Godaddy just before the domain auction started. That's why it couldn't finally start.
I have seen this case happening a few times.
Common, sometimes it happens.
