.xyz is a domain extension they are pushing for some reason.

It's odd - .xyz's are limited at $0.25, but not limited at $0.50. At either price I'll take a chance (the last 10 were some 3C .xyz's that had a word in them).

I see nothing unusual, as NC is the 3rd .xyz registrar (and 1st non asian registrar) is something normal for them to provide big discounts for this extension.

Did you load up your cart and have it ready once the code was published? I did that with the professional hosting but for some reason, despite showing the discount in the cart, I got charged 20 bucks. Good thing NC has a great support system.
