Actually, expiration is mentioned their site.

SOPASUCKS coupon was only good for about 48 hours beginning Dec 29 and ended Dec 31 11:59pm.

That's too bad because I was just going to transfer over 11 domains to them today with this SOPASUCKS coupon, but not for the regular coupon offer I won't. Oh well, I missed out.

They usually never have renewal coupons, however, they will be having a sale that started today.

Use coupn code CRAZYSALES to get discounts on .com, .net, & .biz regs, renews, and transfers at a discount (better than their monthly coupon code deals!).

Sounds like to me namecheap is starting to get...well....cheap :td: But I guess that what you get in the highly saturated, highly competitive, low margins world of new domain registrations/transfers.

DOMAINS4US - i cant see what the actual savings are.. that is what i hate about Namecheap coupons: you need to log in and manually enter some fake order just to find out what you would get on a real one.. then cancel it because it's always way overpriced compared to Godaddy

..or there's another way?

It's not that big of a deal. In the time it took you to post your complaint, you could have found out and posted it here for others. . It's a better than normal discount this month...$1.08 off. In the past, NC rarely gave a whole dollar off withtheir monthly codes. This month it's actually over a dollar bringing the price to $9.61 + $0.18 icann fee = $9.79. Better than the normal $10.87 .

i agree, i used to be a huge and loyal namecheap fan. but their coupons are a joke. They only have really good coupons rarely, and you ahve to do alot of crap like get 10000 people to like their facebook page, which is silly, and mostly jsut for PR, which makes me like them even less.

What sucks more is that $1 coupons in their neewsletters and blogs don't even last the entire month they were created for.

i hate godaddy more, but godaddy has been having some super sweet deals lately. i got like 2 domains in the past month for $2 each, and about to get another with their $5 coupon.

I don't see why namecheap doesnt try to counter these other registrars, instead of doing their silly bs.

ha i've been moving all my domains away from godaddy in the past 5 years, and now i seem to have most of my domains with them again. haha i do hate them but their deals are so nice.

i miss the good o days when domains were an average for $6-7 (for .com .net, etc). then everyone got greedy.

I don't mind NC's prices or discounts that much. They are better than GD, IMHO. NC is much better than GD in many ways, I think. I don't want NC to give very cheap deals like GD because then their support will get worse...it's already not that great. I rarely need support from NC, but when I do the response times can be horrendous and usually takes 5 responses in one thread to get things squared away. The last time I needed support, I was transferring a nme to them and the whole issue took several posts to the support thread and spanned a 5 day period. That's not good response, especially when someone is transferring. I could have easily said "screw it" and transferred elsewhere or kept the domain where it was. So if they start giving $5 off domains, you can kiss support NC goodbye altogether.

BTW, whatever happened with GD...I heard months ago that Bob Parsons sold GD. But I see that they still have a link to his blog on their homepage. Man, that guy really bugs me
