Temporarily for 11,44 USD per year per .EU domain :sold: Not sure how long the promotion lasts. OVH.fr also does an (even cheaper) promotion on .EU, seems .EU is dropping its prices drastically recently...

PS: NP$ or rep welcome :)

Not sure as I never used Namecheap before. One of the NC users can clarify probably. I know Namecheap has the reputation of being very reliable, somehow it never happened though that I registered a domain there.

Must say: 4 dollar for an .EU is very low, and even their normal prices of (I believe) just over 7 dollar are really cheap. That is 5 euro or so, you cannot get .eu much cheaper than that.

I hope that the lower prices and many promotions will make people embrace .EU, as I strongly believe in the potential of the extention.

OVH.fr isn't a accredited Eurid registrar, good pricing though.

OVH is accredited AFAIK, they just did not sign all codes of conduct. However, the majority of France-based registrars didn't do that yet. They are listed on eurid.eu though, so it looks like they are accredited even without having signed that document.

See. So OVH is accredited for .eu and those 3 euros are great pricing! :)

For some extentions change of owner at OVH require paperworks and a copy of your ID. I am not sure if this is just for .eu and .fr or also for .com??

However, it doesn't turn me off, I consider this fantastic security and protection against domain theft. If only more registrars did this. If it also is like that for .com, I may register my .com's at OVH from now on.
