Just had a strange one, i bought a name last week and added it into my sedo account, set up the parking page, photo and put a price on it etc.

Now its no longer in my account at sedo but its still parked there for sale showing a different sedo parking page :-/

At first I thought it was stolen from my Answerable account because I could'nt find it (my mistake when searching)...however it was still there.

I phoned up Answerable in India and they assured me everything it still OK and the name is still with me.

....So, any ideas why it would just dissapear from my sedo account and still be up for sale ?? D-:

If there's any sedo reps watching please PM me :tu:

Possible trademark issue. It's still parked cause it points to their nameservers.

Is ti this? :) Why don't You mention the domain?

I don't like my best domains to get indexed by google (in forum posts)

Hmmm...should'nt be a problem, its a visit(placename).com domain

Would'nt sedo contact you if they thought it was a problem ?

I have seen it happen a lot of times. My money is on someone else at Sedo added the domain to their account and Sedo's system placed it in their account. No matter what you hear, every domain added at Sedo does not go through some lengthy authorization process.

Any domain that sedo cannot authenticate as owned by you is not added to your account.

It is not added to anyone else's account but Sedo's "no owner" account imo.

You can always contact your sedo account manager and provide proof that the domain does belong to you, this is a common problem with domains with privacy etc.

I bet you're right. How I'd love to have the revs from that account. :)

It was already authenticated by sedo and had been parked in my sedo account for about a week, I only set privacy after it had been confirmed as mine.....it was either a mistake or someone trying to pull a fly one ??

I phoned sedo up and its now back home with me where it belongs :tu:

I asked them to keep an eye on the person who added it to their account just incase they're trying to profit from other peoples traffic...how it got authenticated for them I don't know :-/

Thanks guys :tu:
