c. How do I transfer a name between Name.com accounts?
For the Recipient / Buyer:

1. If necessary, create a Name.com account.
2. Give your Account ID, located below the "Hello, username"? on your Name.com account homepage, to the Donor / Seller.

For the Donor / Seller:

1. Log into your Name.com account.
2. At the "Hello"? page, click on the transferring domain name.
3. On the "Manage domain name"? screen, select the "Account Transfer" or "Bulk transfer names from this account to another Name.com account" option.
4. Enter the Recipient's / Buyer’s Account ID, checkmark the applicable contact types, and click "Submit."

That’s it! Your transfer will be completed within 24 hours.

They don't make it easy to find.

Yes, I've pushed many domains at Name.com and it works fine.
The renewal price is $7.99 for the major extensions but you can always transfer out if you can get a better deal elsewhere (and you can).
