MySpace Bulletins and Domain Names

I am a bit confused to why people are selling "MySpace Bulletins" to advertise your site/domain. They claim to reach tens of thousands of people but this seems too good to be true.

How exactly does a MySpace bulletin work and how does it help the domain/site owner to purchase one?

Bulletins reach those who have agreed to be your "friend" on My Space. For example, PC101's My Space has 33 friends right now. So theoretically, if someone has 5000 friends then when they post a bulletin about your site or service 5000 people could potentially see the information.

bulleting are sent to your firends on myspace so if you have 35k friends potentially they can be seen by 35k people. To purchase on go to the forsale/advertising area on this forum i've seen them there
