First of all, what is the need for the stab, "if you knew SEO well...?" I consider myself very knowledgable with SEO. I don't see how you could make such a broad statement regarding somebody's intellect based on so little. Maybe that reveals something about your own.
PR0-PR6 is actually a very big change, I doubt that you have ever gone directly from PR0-PR7, that is nearly, if not entirely impossible. Even if your site had enough backlinks to justify a change to PR6, it probably wouldn't be in 1 update. That tool is saying that you have enough links with enough importance, but that doesn't mean that it will all happen in 1 update.
And the backlink checker is working fine on all of my websites, all links that had already been indexed are showing up. That most likely means that you have obtained all of your links very recently, which could actually result in a penalty.
Please don't let people comments get to you so much, nobody is attacking you personally, simply stating the very remote chances of a PR0-6. The topic name is "My PR6...", which is untrue, because it simply is not PR6 yet. As it was said earlier, do not count your chickens before they hatch.
