My method for domain valuation

Whatever can be worth my domains? nobody is agreed in a valuation form. To my me one of simple and fast has been happened, for approximate autovalorations. One is based on the last purchase of Marchex of 100 domains, with a total of a million visits to the month, by 10 million of dollars. Dividing, it is to 10 $ by each monthly visit. By this I have called it metodo 10. For example, my Bellisima.es domain, that has 200 monthly visits in parking of Sedo, would be worth 200x10 = 2,000 dollars. (real visits, no autovisits, no other systems). What is your opinion about my Metodo 10? whatever is worth your domains with this metod?

Nice but valuation of domains is not measured only by traffic.
If for example you have cbf.com and it gets 200 uniques is it going to be appraised by $2k ?
There are lots of factors that gives you the right value.

OK, but we need some metod for easy valuation, because the proffesional appraisals are too much differents, and the people opinions are too very differents. My domain Trav3ls.com results 30$ valuation at Afternic, and 2500$ at SecureName!

ive got a domain that gets 7500 monthly visits so by metodo 10 that would be valued at $75,000, i'll do you a great deal and you can have it for $7,500, thats a quick $67,500 profit for you under the metodo 10

If traffic alone was the only consideration for valuing a domain, your formula still fails to consider CTR and value of clicks.

While it would be nice if there was a simple formula to determine a domain's value, it ain't gonna happen.

if traffic can be converted to real revenue, then you can value it based on the
traffic. But it is hard to convert un-targeted traffic to real money.

Just like real estate there could never be an easy way to put a price on domains. Call 10 realtors to give you an estimate on your house and you'll get 10 different prices.

It depends on the traffic, name, OVT, length, characters, tld, and mostly whatever a potential buyer is willing to pay.
