To my Dear NamePro Friends,
Rescently I held an auction on this site to test out the .tv market for auctions. I felt very positive with the success as well as with the success of DomainAcrobats auction (by the way, thanks for your advice DA)
I also believe there is room live auction format like Equity and Smash ran about a month ago, but perhaps it was a bit too early and perhaps it needed more reach. In anycase the live format IMO will be a huge as the .tv extension continues to grow.
I think there is room now for an auction website geared just for the .tv extension. As the aftermarket continues to grow more and more companies will be looking for the perfect .tv name and I felt there was needed a destination website for that purpose.
So I have decided to launch one.
Originally I was going to call it DomainNameAuction.tv, but felt it was a little too long and I always felt if you were going to do something, you should do it right. So I decided to purchase my first two letter .tv...

DA.TV I hope will become the destination site for Corporate buyers looking for the perfect .tv for their business.
I have worked to make this site as easy as possible to register and manage your .tv auctions. It is full of great features including automatic relist up to 15 times. So you can run an auction for a week and if it doesn't sell it will automatically relist up to 15 times.
You can also accept many payment systems for automatic payment including paypal.
The cost? 100% Free.
You can list as many names as you want for FREE. I don't charge a listing fee or a percentage of your sale.
So how do I make money? Well I do want to keep this site running and I plan on doing a lot of marketing so right now there is a $2.00 fee for home page featured auction and $1.00 for category featured, bold listing, highlight listing etc..
Also it has google adwords to help support the site.
Eventually down the road I may charge a percentage fee of sales like SEDO, but I don't have plans for that for at least 6 months to a year.

Great question. The .tv members here on namepros are the bloodline of the .tv industry. I need your valuable feedback. How can I make this site better? What would you like to see? Was it easy to register? Was it easy to list a name for Auction? Anything you can do to help make this site better for all of us I would greatly appreciate it.
