Hi NPers,

Thank you so much for all, I'm really happy and would like to announce on this thread that I have a first sale in this domain industry. The deal received 2 days ago, and today money was in my pocket. I submitted this sale to NameBio and it's also approved.

Yes, here's my first domain sold: k / e // v /// e //// l ///// co
Purchase: $0.99 sale of EPIK in July
Hold: less than 4m
Sold: 2/4//9///9

I received the first offer for this name in exactly 3 weeks ago, via email at my own landing page, for 5/0/0 only. But I believed this name is worth than that amount, so I denied immediately with short reply: "Thanks but I'm not interested in this low offer currently". And I really pass this offer.

After more than 2 weeks, because I had to spend around 100$ to renew some expiring names, so look up the email owner of offer. I found that email is a jewelry seller or hand-maker, hence I tried to offer 1/8/8/8. And luckily, after less than 24 hrs, I received 2 emails of Afternic about BIN sold & payment verified for this name, without any email for offer. But I believe this is same person.

Especially, I really want to thank to NPers who give me a lot of ideas, faith by just reading their posts & content: @Bob Hawkes @James Iles @The Durfer @Silentptnr @andrewschnarr @DomainFQ.com @DnFolk and more.

I hope this sale makes me more confidence on this field.

Best regards

Congrats @PhongSGC on your first sale and what an intro!
I just checked on the site and boy how do you come up with the stats info right in front of the page?
That's genius! With so much info, that would certainly take interest of a buyer.

*Fake Stats*.. The domain certainly wasn't registered in 2013.

Congrats on the sale though.

for me, epik lander is poor
So you use afternic lander right?
It takes high Commission and cannot connect buyer n seller directly
But it gets most of the sell

Why would you put an Estibot/Epik/GD appraisals on your landing page, defeats the whole purpose of getting dollar, especially when its $20??

When show domain values from auto appraisal tools, I just intend to tell potential that name is worth even with auto tools, I believe these info help potential buyers find out some thing they never think to before visit that landing page.

But I also think & believe no one decides to buy a name with these info only. Therefore, these facts just make a name more valuable data

Congrats on the sale.
What made you register this name so early in your domaining acquisition days?
Why did this name stand out to you and why did you think this was worth more than the first offer?

thank for asking these good questions

What made you register this name so early in your domaining acquisition days?
at present, I'm still a newbie, so I'm still doing hand-reg 98/100 domains in my portfolio :xf.grin: . But I'm using my auto tool to pick hand-reg name better, I'm still trying to improve my tool :xf.cool:

Currently I use tool:
1. to harvest, yes, exactly a harvester, may be up to millions of avail domains per day for hand-reg if I do full time.
2. With list of these avails, I only pick names with GoDaddy Appraisal Tool above 1k5.

Especially, I'll hand-reg immediately if 3k+; or if 2k5+ then I do many researches to have final decision on hand-reg immediately or add to final list.

Because I still believe that GD tool has a good view
3. For list of names above 1k5 value, I'll do a manual research for each name; check many factors (alike stats on my own landing page) to add them to final list
4. I only hand-reg with this final list.

But I do not rush to hand-reg everything I found, if you read topic of hand-reg regularly, you'll see my posts such as: "you got one of my list", "you dragged my list" , etc.

Why did this name stand out to you and why did you think this was worth more than the first offer?
At present, honestly I still dont have any idea about it; basically, when deny first offer, like I said in OP, I was not interested in that low offer, I didn't care that low amount :xf.wink: and I believed 5-char names should have a better amount
