My BB Forum template - Its kicking my A$$ - Need Help!!!

I need your help in my header...

Hi,

I had someone from my hosting Company install a my BB Forum for me.
He said he would create a custom logo for me.
That didnt happen.
I created one myself, based on the dimensions he said I had to have.
I believe it was something like 282x82...something like that.
So, he placed it in the upper left corner.
I suppose that is the default setting for that particular placement of the logo/title.

2 questions:

1) Is it possible for me to create a larger logo/title/header, (something like about 500x150-ish, and for that to be placed in the center of the header?

2) This is the more important of the 2 questions.
I created another picture, I believe it is about 500x30-ish.
I want that pic to be a clickable link
AND
for it to be placed below the title/logo header,
and above the threads on my board?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

The questions you are asking are specific to the forum software. I'm a web designer but I can't help you because I don't know how the forum software is configured. I'm guessing it has templates that you customise. Probably there is an index php file inside a template folder and a CSS file that styles the template. You would need to make changes both to the CSS and php file. But, I'm only guessing. I have never used or checked that software. The code for image to be a link is very simple but don't do it. You will mess things up and ask your host again for help.

phpBB has a huge community and they have custom templates as well. Visit their website here:

If I were you I would pay somebody familiar with the software, some small money to do it for you.

For the logo issue you will most likely need to go in and edit your template html. The second issue will probably need some editing to some php/(server side script) files.

You can have the logo any size you wish.

Your best bet is to head over to the MyBB community forums, there are loads of nice people who im sure will help you out.
