I'm one of the oldest-standing members here at NP, but I've more or less retired from domaining to pursue a writing career. I’ve been hard at work this week, doing a lotta discussion and dotting those I’s, but now the news can be given. And thus, I’ll do that now: My 1st book, “When You Leave This Way,” will be released to the public soon! Yeah, took me awhile to do this, but I decided releasing this thing now--opposed to later--was for the best. This is the FINAL draft, polished to as fine sheen as I could get it to be. Cover art will, as before with the few test copies I’ve sent out, be performed by the master artist Jamie Knakmuhs. A FB page was set up for it ( http://www.facebook.com/whenyouleavethisway ) & I’ve been busting my ass on an official website for it. http://whenyouleavethisway.com It still needs work. Tentative release date: 1/6/14. Like the page and/or sign up for my mailing list for updates on the release. I'll also post updates in this thread. And of course, any ?’s can be sent to me via the form on the site and/or via PM. Or you can post below. I'm trying to drum up interest before the release date

There is a lot I could say. I think it's best to throw in that my mom was a gifted writer. She had 3 kids and a full-blown head-to-toe cancer. She died without doing much of anything writing-wise. I too have cancer but not of the type my mom had. Mine stems from a genetic disorder. There are so many things I wanna do yet surely, I won't live to do them all. I've given up a billion things to focus on writing (I'm retired, for the most part, from domaining. Longtime users here remember I was a Section Leader at a time until I decided to focus primarily on my career) and as long as ppl like what I do, I'm happy. It's all or my mom, the disabled community, and I try to enjoy it, too

I'm as ope as the books I write. You can always ask me things. I hear a lot pertaining to my life and health, and I hear questions about the book (plot etc). I'm more than welcome to all/any questions ppl have--just ask!
