.mobi Music and video MTLD ?

Does anyone know when music.mobi and video.mobi will become available to developers?

These are two of the biggest, most searched items, and to get these developed will do more for the extension than just about any others I can think of.

They cannot be left to speculators (unless they sell them to me for a grand each!) - these have got to be developed...and soon!

They're super hot internet items - they need to be out there now!

The amount of traffic these two can get, will create priceless exposure for .mobi

What other names would you like to see developed ?

For some of us who want to be a first mover with video or music content.. the fact that such generic names are reserved gives us a chance to make it.. and be a first mover.. before they are released.. this applies to everyone's dot mobi registration and their rival generic industry reserved term..

Time is precious friends, we need to capitalize on the opportunity to be the one and only frontrunner .mobi before another youtube takes most of the marketshare.

I remember an innovative new directory in the mid 90's coming up called Yahoo; not a great domain name even, it shows what can be done by a relative first mover.. opportunity is open for our lives now, in the present.. re-birth..

Get those sites developed and link up!

Friends, we are witnessing the birth of video on the mobile phone.. for the historic first time (in an open field) there is an emerging en masse demand for mobile video vs. short .mobi supply out there.. before the technology arrives widespread, consider being a first mover .mobi video site & just RSS feed those babies.. would love to see some of us here at NP take this on alongside myself, and then link/network together..

..and have some success over the big guys.

I agree - anyone who is sitting on anything to do with music or video, with a view to developing, should bring those names to the top of their 'to do list'.

But, don't despair;

youtube.com - Ovt 2million+ - reg'd 15Feb05
video.com - Ovt 400k+ - reg'd 02Dec96

it's how you develop that's key.

The point is, if those two keywords were developed now, the exposure for .mobi would be beneficial for all .mobis - it would get people used to using the extention.
