you can try. there may be a sharapova fan out there that doesn't care about Trade Marks and just wants to own a tiny piece that relates directly to her. chances for this to happen - practically zero.
if you develop the domain into ANYTHING sports, foto - electronic related or anything that she could wear, talk about, be associated with, etc. you can expect a letter from her attorney(s) with a C&D notice, practically forcing you to relinquish or delete the domain from your portfolio or they simply complain to the registrar, prove their Trade Mark rights and take the domain from you.
Long story short, famous names are never a good idea, unless its your own name, 'cause chances are that you end up barking up the wrong tree.
