Hello all,

I have a serious problem......i forgot my Administrator password in microsoft windows xp.....can any one plz tell me how to enter in my computer now?????or how i can break my password..... :'(

I asked Microsoft this very same Q with my windows 98. They told me to open up the PC's case and take out the little round battery, then wait 15 seconds before putting it back in. It worked. No more password.

You can always put another password in later.

CAVEAT: Please make sure you turn off your computer before you remove the battery.

LOL ! That`s very reassuring from Windows....I wonder if it`s the same with Vista.

I may try it later :)

put the windows xp cd into your cd-rom drive and boot up.

That might reset your BIOS password, but never your Windows one.
