MOZ has reduced DA for all .biz and .info domains to 1 in its latest february 2018 update indicating that it is not indexing .info and .biz domains. This is a major problem for link sellers. Has anyone else observed a similar trend for their .biz, .info domains

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
It means absolutely nothing. All it would reflect is their policy on the data they collect.

Use some other metric like majestic tf / cf. More meaningful anyway because it’s based much larger amount of data.

(BTW, They have not dropped da on my .info site.)

Some ad networks are using Moz DA so it is a problem

Moz has not announced anything, this is based on data of 60+ domains

DA is a link metric. What kind of links do the sites have? They may have stopped crawling (or counting) certain link sources.
Have you asked about it in their Q&A section? I

It appears that domains of domain investors have their DA reduced to 1

How many pages content they require for non 1 DA, on moz forum also some are complaining. It is intentional to increase google's profit, moz is an American company, and it helps google, unlike in India where raw, cbi, ntro are openly involved in financial fraud on indian domain investors allegedly bribed by google, tata

Moz isn't out to increase Google's profit, they want to increase their own profit. DA is a proprietary metric they made up to profit from the market left when Google stopped showing toolbar page rank. It's their interpretation of the links to a site which their crawler (which has a smaller index than Majestic or Ahrefs, not to mention Google) found. "Link sellers" and link builders have ascribed value to it, but it's just a rough assessment of the link equity of the site. It's gameable, and you can still get a crappy backlink from a DA55 site.
