According to the industry reviews posted by users these are the top rated registrars ranked by number of reviews combined with star rating:

Company Reviews Stars Combined Score
GoDaddy 168 3 504
Namecheap 141 3.5 493
Domainsite: 85 3 255
Namepros 61 4 244
Dynadot: 53 4 212
Moniker 39 3.5 136
Enom 30 3 90

Clearly the superbowl ads work! Of course I am sure there are many great new registrars coming up so don't let this table stop you trying someone new - I tried Dynadot recently and they are currently my favourite.

I find Dynadots user interface really matches they way I work. I save a lot of clicks and time wasted waiting for page load. It doesn't take many domains to get their bulk pricing.

The magic number is? :)

And bulk pricing of all the GTLDs there?

Thanks.

I have accounts at dozens of registrars, but generally consolidate to these 4 where I have at least 500 names at each:

Fabulous.com (favorite interface and great pricing except for lack of TLD's)
Enom.com (Easiest to buy/sell/push domains from, although not the cheapest any more)
Godaddy.com (Too big to ignore, and lots of users, however not my favorite)
Dotster.com (Long history going back to namewinner days, but generally not popular with domainers. However, I have good negotiated pricing there.)
