Most Commonly Used Screen Resolutions?

Hey all,
I've found some dated information on screen resultions (saying that 800x600 is most commonly used), but have any of you found more recent information on this? Survey results and the like? I'm hoping/expecting that a resolution of at least 1024x768 is now the most common. Let me know!

I run many sites and most people that visit them use 1024x768 resolution.

I use 1024 x 768. I know a lot of people who use 1280 x 1024 though, but, most of them are designers, so .... I guess, designers use bigger resolutions!

Yeah thanks for telling me what screen res's YOU GUYS are running at... but keep in mind, we're designers. We're a breed all our own. Frankly I don't think i could survive with anything lower than my hi-res notebook display (1400x1050). It's just... beautiful.

On a side note, i'm looking for a new mobile rig, but it's frustrating to find that the screens res's are rarely ever higher than 1024x768. I think i'll just wait for a G5 17".

From my visitor stats the most common is 1024. I personally design for 800. I personally use 1600x1024 on my laptop.

I use a 1024x768 resolution. But its always safe to design for smaller resolutions since when viewed in a larger one, they will look fine. But if you design for larger resolutions and viewed in a smaller one, the scrollbars will start appearing and screwing up your entire design.
