I don't mind people sending me requests to sell their domains but I do mind these two things.

1. Sending me a list more than twice a month.
2. What I hate most is people who ask for an acknowledgement or response to their list.

Take some advice if you don't want to get blocked. Never ask people to respond! It's so freaking annoying. It's autospam/trash for your email address.

I agree - I've only got two responses, delete or block.

Actually, I get a few PMs here on NP, and members seem to be polite and friendly, so I usually reply to them. I've got some ideas of my own about names that I want, so I tend to be a bit selective, and hunt for them myself. I'm also a bit mean when it comes to purchases, so I'm unlikely to pay a "proper" price for a name.

A member after my own heart. You can't make money buying high and selling low. :)

As to the original thread, yes "do you want to sell xxxx.whatever to me?" messages get pretty old after a while. Coming to the table with an offer and who you really are goes a long way to getting a response.
