I've heard about their pro service, and good ratings, but they haven't replied on my emails since 3 days. I have sent to two of their emails: [email protected] and [email protected] . There is a bug in their system which doesnt let me pay via my credit card. The problem is, i have the right data in their system of my credit card, which is working at any other registrar. Now, when i try to pay at Moniker, i get this message "Error:Address and/or zip does not match" which is of course false, as everything is correct.

What can i do?

I've had that problem as well once before. I've resorted to calling them, but I assume you are not able to do so (unless you want to pay a hefty international phone fee). Moniker usually is a bit slower on the weekends, but I'm not sure why they haven't gotten back to you over last week.

You want to try giving 4Domains a shot, their customer service is usually pretty good.

The problem with the moniker payment system is that when submitting credit cards it insists on selecting a state of the USA to execute the payment without the option of not applicable if paying from outside the USA...so if you are not resident in the USA it is not possible to pay with credit card...and if you want to pay with paypal then there is a 4% mark-up....not too impressed and quite frankly I do not want the 'why don't you contact so+so when they get back from their weekend sleepover' suggestion, so I have abjectly failed to yet succeed in purchasing even 1 name from moniker so far!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they haven't responded to your concerns, I'd say that you should use a different registrar. The best way you can communicate with them is with your feet/money.

that's a fair point fonzie but since moniker is recommended as one of the few good guy registrars I was hoping you might 'strike back' as you are a big fan compared to GD..................

Moniker has made a change to their payment system. Even if you are there best customer you have to get re-verified. You should have recieved an auto-email when you tried to pay by cc.

Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly a fan of Moniker (and NOT a fan of GD); however, there are also other good registrars out there to choose from. If one registrar isn't listening to you or helping you, find one that will.

I chose them because of their relatively cheap .at registrations. Btw, i have not received auto emails, and i could set up my credit card as "non US state" so it shouldnt be a problem. I got a PM now from Moniker, hopefully we can resolve this problem, will tell what happened. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and information!

Moniker has also Not responded to two different of my emails, one of them about transfering domains TO Moniker.

Calling them is not always a good alternative since you waste a lot of time explaining and spelling when by email it is quck.

I am starting to get concerned about them.

Moniker is my favorite registrar although the majority of my domains are at Enom.
I still have problems using Moniker because of my CC. Actually, its not the CC, but Monikers system.
I really like them, and on 3 occasions was interested in slowly transfering out from ENom to Moniker (a few thousand domains).
the CC problem persists.
even though when I called, it somehow helped, using their email support the last 2 months has not helped.
Unfortunately, it looks like they are having problems, and are dropping from the premier registrar I hoped they would be.
I also am getting concerned.

I pay 6.95 at Enom. I had to put $7k on account to get that pricing though (not a fee, just cash on account).

I pay $6.95 at Moniker with no money down or anything. :)

Possible to get cheaper renewals with existing account than 20$ ?
I'm not sure if they can lower your prices. Just make a new account and push all of your domains to yourself.

Moniker is my favorite registrar. I pay all my services at Moniker by Credit Card(Not US CC), and there is no prolem for me.

I love moniker but I can't get them to email me back. I am seeking simple support and its becoming a hassle.
