Moderation of the design contest forum?

I've tried unsuccessfully to get a few contests posted in the design contest forum recently and none of them ever appear...

Is it moderated, if so, by who? I figured it would be Matt since he has all the stickies in the forum be his profile says he's been missing since just before valentines day (he must have bought someone a vacuum cleaner as a gift...)

So what gives? I'm following the guidelines exactly for the contest but my threads never appear.

It seems RJ, Mark or -db- have taken over approving contests; I'd suggest contacting the Private-to-Staff area in case you don't receive a response from them here

Hopefully all's okie with Matt ... I know he's gone offline in the past for a bit, but after a short while he's usually back and then quite active IMHO. Please keep the thread updated if you hear from him, friends! :talk:

Hello Freakin,

I'm sorry you've had trouble.

It's true that Matt (the normal mod for the design section) has been away, but we are still reviewing all contest submissions on a daily basis, so there should never be a case of more than a 1-day wait for approval.

I don't recall your specific submissions, so I can't say why they were not approved, but if you will submit again, I will make sure to get it taken care of.

Thats my thoughts as well .... haven't seen any by him to approve.
