General Registrations - Landrush - August 28th, 2006 - September 10th, 2006

I'm not going to reg any .mobi

too expensive and it seems a very limited extension.

I'm sure all the premium names will go in the pre-regs.

I don't forsee the domain name really taking off. Even though I was planning on pre-regging a few, this $80 for a two year registration is making me think otherwise. Ouch...

I'm not getting any either. I do think that if .mobi takes off, then that will mean that "mobi" will start becoming a popular moniker for "mobile" and that will possibly pave the way for anyone holding any mobiwhatever, whatevermobi .com's.
