Over at NameJet there are 35 bids on this domain at $525.

What am I missing or are people this stupid? I am guessing that someone shill bid once or twice - then once it had a bid people stopped looking at the domain name focusing on the fact that there were bids.

Yep, I think it's just some people with more money than sense bidding. Seems a pointless domain.

It'd be different if CityOfChicago.com was a fairly popular website (even if you wouldn't mistype city and citiy...), but it's not - it's a parked page.
