Missed a Tucows prerelease..

Wondering if anyone would be able to advise please.

This is with regards to a tucows domain which was a prerelease @ snapnames.

I was waiting till the last minute to bid and then had no phone signal. Therefore I have missed it.
almost a week later
As the domain is still in redemption period I dont think it went to auction. Is there any way to get this domain prior to catching it on the drop? I have tried the email on the whois to no success.

Any advice would be appreciated

Tucows PreRelease

That's interesting, I thought all Tucows PreRelease goes to NameJet.

Maybe that's how it is today and it was SnapNames in 2011?

According to the page about Tucows on Wikipedia it was AfterNic in 2008.

Quite a lot of changes in this industry...

I too think Tucows uses NameJet, also. It would be interesting if this switch could be confirmed.

Right now SnapNames mentions Tucows in a short list of "Top Registrar Partners":

So,... looks like Tucows domains go to SnapNames, not NameJet.

I'm just now watching a domain that's come up as "Available Soon" on SnapNames, but not on NameJet.
