As the SEs increasingly filter out parked domains, minisites become an attractive option. How have people done with minisite developed domains versus their previous parking results?

Personally, I have done 100% better.

Minisites is definitely the way to go for me. :$:

there are pluses and minuses to both,,,I had a network of 14 sites that did really well on minisites using YPN....But overall,Parking has been better with my names,it takes much longer to generate revenue than a minisite does though,And a minisite can definatly bring in some nice revenue + increase the value much faster of your domain name.

Is there anyone out there that makes mini sites for a portion of the profits instead of a flat fee? There really seems to be market for that now. I think web developers could make more from that than asking for a flat fee. They could choose the domains they want to develope. I you know of someone please PM me. Thank you.

I believe in mini site monetization.

I used to make this kind of sites very much for myself and for some clients here on NP.

And the results were really good ones. After all some domains even get good traffic and page rank compared to the normal parking page.

The main point should be that the mini site should not be just a copy paste thing. The content in it should be nice. If we are going for more then 50 pages mini site then the URL's and every thing should be taken care of with mod_rewrite. etc. etc.

Keyword targetting, Some inter links and if there are more then 50 mini sites then there should be more then 5 servers. From different I.P. blocks.
