In my opinion not much as the page won't have any revenue and the visitors in some years will go very deep down! SO I would say 50K the maximum!

The million$homepage has 44,268 backlinks as of today, coke.com has 35,096 and namepros.com has 36,268.

So, he might get some pocket change for it. Those links will continue to drive traffic for years.

When it first started (and there were only a couple dozen ads), I was getting 1000+ hits per day. That went on for about a month. Now, I'm getting just under 1,000 hits per month.

Last night i was searching for namepros and i couldnt find it.....:P

I have noticed that large ad for sitelutions. I bet that as intuitive as he is he found a hosting co to host it for free, or very cheap, as long as he keeps that link there. Imagine how many impressions that hosting co ad gets per day..

He hasnt taken anyone for a ride... no one really cares what he's going to do with the money, all buyers care about is the hits they might recieve from it.

And with the media attention that it has recieved, no ones been taken for a ride!

MDHP cannot be sold by Alex because in that case he will kill his now branded name. I still have no idea how it will develop after 1mil pixels sold, but while it will be approaching the 1 mil the interests to the public will growth. I heard there are some bets now running when MDHP will finish to be filled out

A site like this is unique in that you NEED the traffic in order to sell your ad space but how the heck to get traffic when the thing didn't have anything on it worth looking at?!

You need to look for ways to create enough intrigue/controversy to make people want to tell others about it. The MDHP did just that at the beginning, and that's how he generated the initial traffic. It snowballed, caught the attention of the media, and once one media channel picks up on it, they all want a piece of it. It's self-perpetuating until people lose interest.
