The domain in question is TalkandMore.com

I currently own TalkandMore.net and I have been contacted about the .com ....How much do you guys think it's worth? I don't think it has stats now...

After a few replies I will post the price they quoted me... You guys will not believe it. Also, remember that many in here said my domain talkandmore.net with a load of decent stats was worth squat basically....


So, what do you think TalkandMore.com is worth???? This is gonna be interesting...lol

To me, it isn't worth a whole lot. To someone in the cell and electronic business, a lot more. As a reseller, I wouldn't pay more than about $25 for it. Although an end user may pay upwards of $10k for this domain.

It's worth what the higher offeror is willing to pay. Appraising domains isn't an exact science. Unless you are dealing with LLL or NNN domains, appraisals are all over the place on domains. As I said, I would expect that an end user could pay upwards of $10k for the domain--that doesn't mean anyone will, just that there is a possibility. Remember, buzztracker.com went for $23k the other day--more than jut about anyone would have expected it to go for.

I have only been in the domain business for a few short months but in that time I can tell you I have seen some people selling some domains for crazy prices but whats even stranger is that people are buying them at some crazy prices---so just when I think I cannot be surprised---I am surprised again
I would say maybe 5,000 is what thet are asking.

Great estimate..... They quoted me $6,000!! The next best things which is a .net and it isn't worth squat.....

I haven't checked lately but if you type TalkandMore in almost any engines my .net site will come up number 1.. It used to anyways....

I did want to buy that .com domain but no way.... 6 G's.......

Fonzie... You think that it could worth 24k???? Wow.... and the .net is worth $20?????? Man that just totally sucks...

Well, I do have an offer for the site for $1900 right now and I have 2 people in a bidding war but I think it is the developed site they want and not just the domain name but who knows....

Anyways, it could be brandable by a store who sells Pagers and cell phones, but I doubt that it's worth that much.

No because I am not asking for an appraisel... I don't even own that domain... It was more of a little game and I don't see why your worried about anyways unless you are a mod... don't mean to sound rude or anything...


The company that owns it would not budge on the price... It stands at $6,000.... I don't know if they have come down or what since then but I am sure they bought it for next to nothing...

Does the fact that the .com domain is worth so much do anything at all to effect the value of my .net ???? That is an interesting question.... what about the other ones too?? .org etc.....

talkandmore.com is a highly brandable name for a mobile services co and so $6k is not such a high price. The .net not so valuable but still a nice name.

$6k to a company that nets $400k per year is not a big expense

$6k to a web developer on a tight budget seems like a rip off

IMO, talkandmore.com is worth less then $100. Even if I did own a wireless store or anything to do with phones/talking.

I think that it all depend on the end user. If they have a good business idea and they will invest for the name that they believe it will bring back value in the future.

talkmore is alot better. All phone companys would want it. Its very brandable and easy to remember.

Talkandmore.com as a parking page when the .net is a very popular forum - pretty valuable

It does beggar the question though as to why you would brand such a weak .net term into such a popular site when the .com appeared freely available..

Ah well, im sure theres an obvious explanation...
