Agree, whether it's Metaverse, AI, or any other new trend or technology these discussions can help us gain many valuable insights which will come in handy when choosing domain names.

Those who always want to silence others here on the forum usually have other motives that go beyond domaining.

I like MV more but I think MVerse isn't bad at all. I just don't know if end users will make a trend out of it. So far I've seen 3 companies using it. I think MV has a better shot at becoming a buzzword alternative to Metaverse though...

Just curious, do these sales eventually make their way to Namebio? And if they get there eventually is the sales date different?

Many sales (sedo) do not appear on namebio.Sales dates will not be different but it takes a long time to be listed on Namebio.

Nah man I did not want to come across as rude and obviously have no right to "silence" anyone. I enjoy these discussions myself but once you hit dead ends like "can you upload consciousness or not" maybe it's time to consider whether it's related to metaverse names or not. Just a suggestion, feel free to ignore!

Doubt it lol. Not practical. People are in 7 different t apps doing 14 different things at the same time instead of waiting for replies... Both online and offline. This is one of the reasons why I think that most of the metaverse that's "vr" based is mostly hot air. Yes people will play games but that's not the metaverse otherwise we've already had the MV for decades now.

Ask 10 different people what the metaverse is, from developers to gamers, teens to boomers and they'll all tell you 10 different answers and that's because no one really has a straight answer that is not abstract and open ended. But one thing it's not going to be is a place where people go to stand around doing nothing in avatars while people are doing a host of other activities while they write. One if the reasons why chat rooms aren't as popular as they were in the 90s is because people like to write and go about their business.

We have apps like Clubhouse that are voice based now, but even in those people are driving, doing their laundry, etc. There are very immature, cartoonish like ideas about how we will all socialize in these virtual spaces but that would get boring fast because we are in an age that's over exposed to virtual interaction and avatars. It's old news. You need more than that to keep people's attention. Some ideas about the metaverse sound like something someone living in the 80s would come up with. And that's where many of these Metaverse ambitions will be fall flat. I hope these corps think of more intersting reasons to be in a virtual space other than just to hang out and talk. Thsts not enough.
