IMO because of the trademark issues FB will only be able to use "Meta" as their Company name, we won't see it on the products...

I think FB will piggyback off the trademark rights on one of the meta companies they recently brought which will give them better leverage for being the first to have the earliest trademark date.

They just don't have it. Microsoft sucks. They will never get it. They've always sucked at naming their products and services, from Zune, Azure, Mixed Reality, Merged Reality (with Intel), "Microsoft" and now Mesh.. WTH! They're completely mentally retarded when it comes to bränding and they'll *NEVER*... EVER get it!

That's one large Metaverse co we know can't compete with Meta in social. Two more to go (Apple & Epic Games). I'm looking forward to a smaller, newer player to step into the race to compete seriously with Meta, because the industry needs diversity. We need FRESH BLOOD!

The laptop firm "Meta PC " doesn't even have a Meta trademark yet. They applied for one in August or so, and are now using the got-there-first angle for media spin.
